Tetayut Creek Ivy Pull & Planting
Join us for English ivy pulling of the riparian areas along Tetayut Creek, as well as planting of native species. Come see the progress being made to restore this important creek! This work will involve bending/crouching/kneeling, shovelling, and tugging up plants by hand.
When: Wednesday, October 14th (10:00 am-12:30 pm).
Where: Tetayut Creek at Heritage Acres in Central Saanich. Drive through the main gate and park in the gravel lot ahead and on the left.
What to bring: Water, snacks as desired, sturdy footwear, and layers for sun/wind/rain you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. All tools and gloves provided. Washrooms on site.
