Invasive Species Removal at KEL,SET Creek
Join us for a morning of invasive species removal along KEL,SET (Reay) Creek, where recent restoration work was completed by PSS volunteers this summer! This work will involve bending/crouching/kneeling, shovelling, and tugging up plants by hand.
When: Monday, October 12th (10:00 am-12:30 pm).
Where: Frost Ave entrance to Reay Creek Park in Sidney. Street parking available along Frost Ave (please be respectful of residents).
What to bring: Water, snacks as desired, sturdy footwear, and layers for sun/wind/rain you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. All tools and gloves provided. Please note there are no washrooms on site.
