Fly Fishing Film Festival Fundraiser
Join us for Custom Rodbuilders Inc.‘s Fly Fishing Film Festival Fundraiser, with proceeds supporting our coastal cutthroat trout research and conservation program!
The event will feature a curated selection of award-winning Fly Fishing Film Tour (FT3) short films, a raffle of coveted prizes and experiences (more info coming soon), light bites and drinks from Finest at Sea and Spinnakers, and a presentation from PSS on our coastal cutthroat trout research. Coastal cutthroat trout are an important indicator of healthy, connected aquatic ecosystems, relying on both freshwater streams and nearshore marine habitats throughout their life cycle. However, relatively little is known about their movements and habitat use in our region. To help close this knowledge gap, PSS has been tagging trout and installing acoustic telemetry receivers throughout the Victoria and Sooke harbours, building a much-needed baseline that can help inform future monitoring, habitat protection, and restoration.

Where: Victoria International Marina (1 Cooperage Pl).
