MÁW̱UEĆ Volunteer Day
Come out to our beautiful wetland restoration site and lend a helping hand with invasive species removal, mulching, and general site maintenance. This work will involve bending/crouching, shovelling, and tugging up weeds by hand.
When: Friday, October 16th, 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
Where: Farm property called MÁW̱UEĆ (Tsartlip First Nation land), located near Brentwood Bay (specific directions provided upon registration).
What to bring: Sturdy footwear and layers for sun/wind/rain you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. All tools and gloves provided. Please note there is only one portable toilet located near the parking area at the top of the hill above the site. Water and snacks provided!
