Learning  Through Participation

Peninsula Streams Society brings environmental education programs into the classroom.  Our aim is to have programs in place that will “connect” children with their local environment at each of the Grade 3, Grade 6 and high school levels.  Activities with groups like the Girl Guides and Scouts, such as watershed model presentations, invasive species removal and storm-drain painting, are ongoing projects.  All of our programs are currently offered free-of-charge to classes and groups on the Saanich Peninsula.

We currently do not have an established or annual program for the senior secondary level, but are available to present educational lectures and workshops on a request basis.
